Several months ago I gave my 8 year old granddaughter, Emily, a DreamCap to wear at night when she goes to bed to help protect against nightmares and various imaginary monsters and the boogeyman. I just wanted to thank you for this great product. While my three-year-old daughter Sadie never really complained of having bad dreams, she did have reservations about sleeping in her own bed. She frequently said that she was afraid to sleep by herself and it was a huge chore getting her to fall asleep at night. When I first showed her the dreamcap, she was so excited she put it on right away. She begged me to put in the CD so she could listen to it. Well, she loved it so much that she listened to it about 10 times and then fell asleep in the middle of the afternoon! Since then, she has requested to listen to the CD and wear her dreamcap before going to bed each night. There is no more fussing trying to get her to settle down enough to sleep. Thanks so much for the dream cap for Wrena. Here is a picture of her with it. :) She loves it...ALOT! She has been listening to the CD every night. I do have a suggestion though -- it is VERY tight on her head (maybe she has a big noggin') and
doesn't stay on at night and if it does it leaves a tight ring. She's adamant that it is fine though. Is there a way you can do "sizes" or have it designed to "tie" behind the head like the doo-rag we suggested and talked about? I was also thinking maybe if it had more elastic? Not sure....I also thought about making it out of some sort of REALLY soft fabric -- but that might get expensive. Anyway just offering up some thoughts - take it for what it's worth. The main thing is IT WORKS and she LOVES IT!!!! :) Thank you so much!!!!

I am writing to thank you very much for your ingenious invention!! My 5 year old LOVES her dreamcap and the beautiful heart-warming song! She used to fight to go to sleep every night always wanting somebody to "sleep with her"! Now, as long as her cap is on and her song is playing, bedtime is peaceful and enjoyable. Two weeks ago she spent a weekend at her grandma's house with her 6 year old cousin. Her cousin said that she didn't want to go to sleep because she had bad dreams. Well your dream cap idea was great .. Normally the kids have trouble sleeping at night cause they
have bad dreams. Sometimes about ugly monsters in there room or that they heard a noise and they
won't sleep but i convinced them to wear the cap and it was like a shield. I told them that god wanted
me to give them this cap to put on cause he blessed it with magical powers and no one could ever hurt
them when they wore it and that all the things that were in there dreams that were bad couldn't touch
them ever while it was on there head.i told them it had so much power in it that all the bad things would
cry and run out of there dreams cause they couldn't handle all the power it had and all the power it gave
them for wearing it. so yes my children now think with this cap at night they are the most powerful kids
and now they can sleep with out being scared. Thank you so very much for your invention.

This story is about our 5 year old son Aaron. He often complained about being scared

and having bad dreams. My wife and I would regularly make multiple trips to get Aaron

back in bed. Sometimes he had difficulty falling asleep because of the scary thoughts.

Other times he would wake up crying due to bad dreams. We have always been careful

to expose out boys to age appropriate entertainment. For that reason, we knew Aarons

problem was not from external influences. We prayed with Aaron asking God to take

away the bad dreams. However, it did not stop his young mind from imagining all sorts

of scary things that bothered him.

I saw an article about the Dream Cap in a military magazine and showed it to my wife.

Our first impression was that the Dream Cap was a cute idea that had some potential for

a little boy whose world is so concrete. Realizing we had nothing to lose, we decided to

give it a try. The Dream Cap arrived and we played the CD telling Ben's story. A little

grin came to Aaron's face when he heard the story and saw the Dream Cap. He

desperately wanted to get rid of the bad dreams and was willing to try the cap. That night

he went to bed with his new cap on. He popped out of bed just once at the beginning of

that night. We reminded him that he had to believe in the cap's ability to keep out bad
dreams. Aaron returned to bed and fell asleep. He has been sleeping through the night

since. Occasionally we remind him how lucky he is to have a Dream Cap that keeps out

bad dreams. The Dream Cap has been a real blessing that has brought peace to our little

boy's life and our home.

Thank you. The Dreamcap has been the best thing that I ever purchased. My 3 year old son has
been experiencing night terrors for the past 2 years. Every night he wakes up with eyes wide open
screaming uncontrollably with a blood curling scream, and he is inconsolable – no matter what we
try. These “fits” usually last about 20-30 minutes long. We tried everything that doctors and
psychologists suggested, but nothing worked. We ordered the dreamcap about three weeks ago
and he has not woken up yet. I guess the power of belief and suggestion is very overpowering.
Me and my husband are so thankful that we can now have a nights rest, and my son can finally get

Thank you for your concern in seeing if the dream cap has helped. I'm glad I came across the article. Bryce used to wake up terrified of bad dreams in the middle of the night. Since he received his dream cap and after a few reminders to really "believe" in the dream cap, he's stopped waking up from nightmare's. He's even told me that we should get all his friends a dream cap so they won't have bad dreams.He recently said that his dream cap even works when he doesn't believe in it but I think it's due to his belief in it that he doesn't have to think about it anymore. My husband is a soldier in the Michigan National Guard and is currently deployed overseas. We have four small children at home but Devyn, our eight year old son is daddy's little boy. My name is Julie Weinert and I have a 5 year old son named Evan. For years he has struggled with sleeping through the night. He would wake up almost every single night between the hours of 1AM and 4AM. Needless to say, none of us got a good night's sleep. I struggled with falling back to sleep after it had been interrupted and literally would lose 2-3 hours each night. I work and go to school, as well as a parent, so you can imagine the struggle it takes to juggle that with even a full night's sleep. I know that your body replenishes the serotonin levels at night and not getting enough sleep really affected my memory, concentration and I am sure many other things that I didn't realize. We sat down with our son, we told him all about the dream cap and how special it was and we all sang the song together, we played the CD. We made it very special. We kept telling him how we wished that we had a dream cap too. It made him feel very special. We received the dream cap several weeks ago and he has slept through the night, every single night since. Georgia, who has not been able to sleep in her own bed alone for about a week is now sleeping in her own bed with the dream cap! We have to go to sleep with her in her bed and she does wake up several times as we try to leave but the frantic nature of her pleas has subsided I am happy to say. She would, of course, like a book to go along with her dream cap and she would also like to order a bigger size because when it slips off she can't find it in the dark!!! I gave the girls their new caps last nite they love them, they told me they listen to the CD every nite when they go to sleep. (i didn't know) My little one Kenzzie (she is the one i actually got the cap for) told me the story, and sang the song. she really loves it and was all excited and really thrilled with her new cap. now i need another one for my youngest grandchild, jillie, she is 2 1/2 she wants one too. and kenzzie and morgan won't give up the one for the dollies. hahaha you had said you would send a few of the new ones that came in too small for the girls to play with. that would probably be a good use for the ones that are too small for real kids, send them one for their teddy bears or baby dolls, my grandchildren truly love them. i gave them the new caps last nite and soon as they got home they made their mom take a picture, when she sends it to me i will forward it to you. just wanted to let you know, how happy your "dream cap" has made my little Kenzzie. thanks again,

At age 4 1/2, Jack's imagination became really active and he began to fear being in his room alone at night to sleep, or even during the day to play. He wanted either mom or dad to sleep with him. (With children ages 6, 4, and 2, we have always found co-sleeping, while an easy way out in the middle of the night, not to be a practical or helpful option for any party concerned.) While we did not mind lying with him to comfort him after we had read books, etc... we both have too much to do with 2 other young children to go on to bed with him. It became a very frustrating issue for us and a rough time for Jack as well. He began waking up at night screaming and scared and could not go back to sleep unless we 'helped' him by staying with him. This was very difficult. The pediatrician advised leaving a small light on (already doing), soft music (ditto), and basically just waiting it out as it was a phase he would grow out of. So I got on the internet and did a search for sleep problems or scary dreams kids or something and came upon the dream cap website. Jack was really excited about the cap! It has given him some confidence and a ritual. While he still needs lots of encouragement, the cap is one of the tools we have found useful on our road to getting him to sleep all night independently again.

Thanks for following up on Ben. He had his first bad dream in a few weeks just last night. We left the kids with a babysitter and I forgot to leave his hat on the bed.
